Obituary of Sonia Marquis-Lazaruis

Sonia Marquis-Lazaruis passed away at home with family at the age of 91 August 20, 2021.  Sonia was born November 8, 1930 in Liverpool, England. She moved to the States when she married her husband George Lazaruis. She was a longtime resident of Marion County. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and good friend to many. She is survived by her sons Jeffery Lazaruis and Barry Lazaruis, grand children Jara Barringer, Jade Lazaruis, Christopher Lazaruis, Sean Lazaruis and many great grandchildren. There will be no service. She will be buried at Florida National Cemetary with her late husband who served our country for many years.
