Obituary of Kami Tyree Nichols

Kami Tyree Nichols, 46, of Ocala, Florida passed away at her home surrounded by family on August 16, 2021. She was born February 7, 1975, the daughter of Jim and Marilyn (Lieurance) Smith. Kami was a native of Grand Island, Nebraska before moving to the Ocala area from Grand Island, NE in 1999 after marrying her best friend Matt.  Matt and Kami shared over 22 years of love and happiness. Kami was the owner of Spin City Laundry in Ocala, a business she and Matt started in 2010.   Her passion was taking care of her family, friends, and others who she felt were in need.  

Kami is survived by her husband, Matt; her children, Jazmine, Matthew Jr., Andrew, Abigail, Lucas, Wyatt, Damien, Isabella, Amelia, and Adeline.; her grandchildren, Owen and Olivia; her parents, Jim and Marilyn; siblings, Chad and Sunshine.

She was preceded in death by her two children, Ian and Isaac.

A funeral service for Kami will be held at Wings of Faith Fellowship (5066 SE 64th Ave Rd, Ocala, FL 34472) on Saturday, August 28 at 12:00pm.
