Obituary of Lynn Ann Peterson

Lynn Ann Peterson, 57, of Belleview passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Advent Health of Ocala. Lynn is a native of Winter Haven, Florida and has been a lifelong resident of Florida.  She was a 4th grade teacher at Emerald Shores Elementary School.  She attended Sunset Harbor Baptist Church and Village View Community Church where she was active in Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and music ministries.  Lynn enjoyed traveling and learning about the history of the places she traveled to.  She always found a reason to celebrate something, especially her “birthday month.”  However, she was most proud of her family.  Survivors include husband Steven; daughters, Stephanie (Joshua), Amy (John), Samantha, Autumn; mother and father-in-law, Pete and Martha Peterson; and granddaughter, Olivia.  She is preceded in death by her parents Junior and Jonell Broom and brother William R. "Randy” Broom.  A visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Monday, August 16, 2021, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E Silver Springs Blvd. There will be a private burial at a later date.  Memorial Contributions may be made to: Florida Baptist Children’s Home, 7748 SW 95th Terr, Miami, FL 33156.
