Obituary of Larry L. Applegate

Summerfield, FL - Larry L. Applegate, Sr., age 78, passed from this life and went to his Heavenly home on Sunday, July 25, 2021. Larry was born in Lakewood NJ on February 16, 1943. At the age of 20, he married his wife of 58 years, Evelyn Ruth Betterley.  They later moved to Summerfield FL where Larry operated his own Masonry business for years. He is survived by his wife Evelyn, sons, Larry Applegate Jr., Kevin Applegate, Douglas Applegate; daughters Janet Rutkowski and Lynn Ann Valderrama; seven grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held at Hiers-Baxley Life Events Center in The Villages on Saturday, July 31 from 11am - 1 pm.
