Obituary of Shiela Lee Hamar

Shiela Lee Hamar, 68, of Ocala, Florida passed away at Advent Health Ocala on June 22, 2021. She was born September 12, 1952 the daughter of Arniss Wetherell and Grace Stevens. Shiela was a native of Milford, Connecticut before moving to the Ocala area from Lebanon, Oregon in 2007. Shiela was a member of Wings of Faith Fellowship in Ocala. Shiela loved her family, she enjoyed sewing and crafts especially the very special hooded baby towels she made. She loved birds, flowers and lighthouses too. She enjoyed being at the ocean especially the Oregon Coast!  Shiela loved the Lord and showed his love to everyone who she came in contact with!

Shiela is survived by her son, Dante Parker; her daughter, Monique Allen; grandchildren, Christopher Parker, Matthew Allen, Nathaniel Allen, Gabriel Allen and Brodie Tindal and several Great- grandchildren Jayden, Noah, Pheonix, Brooklynn and William.

She is preceded in death by her birth parents Arniss Wetherell and Grace Woodin(Stevens); Adoptive Parents (Aunt and Uncle) Edward and Valerie Smith Brothers David Wetherell and William Wetherell  and sisters Sharon Peterson and Deborah Fiorillo.

A memorial service for Shiela will be held at Wings of Faith Fellowship in Ocala on July 17th at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Monique Allen via Wings of Faith Fellowship. Online condolences may be left to hiers-baxley.com.
