Aunt Barbara, you were an amazing women and a true life-long friend to Mom. I’m proud to be named after you.

Celeste, your mother was my ninth grade PE teacher at Batesville High School at the same time that Jean was my piano teacher. Those wonderful Rutherford women were always so special to me, as was Miss Opal. They were among the smartest people I've ever known. From one who will always remember them, I send you sympathy, love and blessings.

I am the Chapter Registrar and sincerely thank you so very much for the notification. We are so sorry to hear of Barbara's passing and we will take care of the notification to the Division. Barbara was the sister of Jean Crouch, who was the first member to join after the Chapter was re-activated in 1988 and was the Registrar General from 2000-2002. Jean was my mentor and passed away a few years ago.

Dear Celeste, Family, and Friends,
How do we accept that one of the Creator's brightest stars no longer shines?
Barbara's time on this earth was consumed with loving care and encouragement for her family, her friends, her students, and her beloved animals.
If Barbara was a friend, you knew it with confidence.
Barb, may you ride into the wind with your beloved Queenie.
Well done my dear friend!
Susi Baker
