Barbara and I enjoyed texting each other often after she moved to Florida and we looked forward to getting each other’s text and one early morning at about 5am I heard my phone click and I said who can that be? After I got up that morning I checked my phone and I discovered it was Barbara texting me and I loved hearing from her and for that I will miss hearing from you.
Love you lots and miss you forever, Sister

So thankful that Aunt Barbara was a part of my life. She and Uncle Ronnie were wonderful godparents, making me feel special even though we lived so far apart. On our summer trips to NY we stayed in Baldwin with our Crisci family, visited Nunley's, swam in the pool (even thought the water was freezing to this NC kid), got Carvel ice cream, lots of bagels & pastry's & NY pizza, and Aunt Barbara made sure she had whatever was my favorite cereal at the time. I remember lots of laughs between her & my mom as the "ditzy sisters" caught up on their lives. And I will always be amazed that she surprised me and came to my high school graduation...all that way just to be there! She was a special lady indeed!
Love,
Jennifer Boggs

I have only known Barbara for a short time after she and Ron moved next door to me in The Villages. I found her to be a warm, kind, fun loving person. She attended several Neighbor luncheons we had here for our neighborhood. We all enjoyed her company and we planned to have many more of those wonderful times. Unfortunately, those occasions will be missing Barbara. We will be having one of our luncheons on Monday, June 21st and we will all remember Barbara and miss her presence. Rest in Peace, Barb, my friend.

Always loved our yearly family visit to Long Island and the time we spent with Aunt Barbara and Uncle Ronnie’s home in Baldwin. The best memories include Mom and Aunt Barbara laughing and reminiscing together, the “Ditzy Sisters”! My prayers are for peace for the family and that great memories of good days trump the grief of this most difficult time. Much love to all of you.
