Obituary of Carol J. Mammana

Carol J. Mammana, 72, of Silver Springs , Florida passed away June 9, 2021 at Brandley House in Summerfield, Florida. She was born  in  Staten Island, NY the 6th of 10 children born to David and Mary (Begerow) Colligan.  She moved to Silver Springs in 1998 from  Freehold, NJ.  Carol was a homemaker and a chiropractic assistant to her husband for 10 years. 

She was an avid collector of many things including dolls, plates, and friends.   A stranger was just a friend she hadn't met yet.

Carol was predeceased by her daughter Dana Mauldon in 2002.  She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Thomas F. Mammana of Silver Springs, 4 children; Tina (Matthew) Life of Ocala, Thomas (Jeanne) Mammana of Summerfield, FL, Joel (Katie) Mammana of Howell, NJ, and Carrie (Kyle) Helt of Ocala, 14 grandchildren; Chelsea, Mason, Cameron, and Hayden, Dalana, Andrea, and Julia, Kasey, Abby, Callie, and Cole, Madison, Logan, and Autumn, and 6 siblings; Mary, Robert, Harry, Doris, Donald, and Kevin.  She was predeceased by 3 siblings; David, Emma, and Wilbur.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Highland Memorial Park, 1515 NE 3^rd St. in Ocala, FL.
