Obituary of Ethel Ruth Wilson

Ethel Ruth Wilson, 81, of Anthony passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021, surrounded by her family on her family farm. Mrs. Wilson was born in Harrison, Illinois and moved to this area attending grade school and graduating from Ocala High School in 1957.  Mrs. Wilson was married to the late Woodrow Wilson for 44 years. She was a woman of strong faith who enjoyed spending time with family and friends on the farm. Mrs. Wilson loved to share with others how Jesus changed her and her husband’s lives. She is survived by her children: Daniel (Debbie Kay) Wilson, Deborah (Eric) VanWagner, Judy (Wylie) Overfelt-Lovelady; siblings: Ben (Jane) VanLue, Elsie (Bob) Trammell, Douglas (Connie) VanLue, Beverly Loe, Evelyn (Charles) Rieder, Harvey Lee VanLue, Tim (Susan) VanLue; nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren with an additional one coming soon. She was preceded in death by her husband Woodrow Wilson, her parents Harvey and Alma VanLue, and a grandson. Upon her request, services were privately held  followed by a graveside ceremony at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens, arrangements under the care of Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Ocala.
