Obituary of Pauletta J. Scamorza

Pauletta J. Scamorza, age 69 of Ocala, FL, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021. She was born in Greenville Ohio to Ozro and Patricia Sherwood. She moved to Belleview, FL in the late 1980’s and worked at Hamilton Animal Products factory until her retirement in August 2008. She was a member of Souls Harbor Church in Belleview, FL. Pauletta loved to travel and was a supporter of Apostolic Pentecostal Home Missions Church.

Pauletta was a great painting teacher through “The Joy of Painting”, Bob Ross Art workshop, School in Landscrapes, Seashores, Flowers, and taught in places such as Jacksonville, Green Cove Springs, Leesburg, the Villages, Ocala, and Belleview.

Survivors include her husband Jimmy Scamorza, brother Ozro Sherwood, III, 2 sisters; Georgia Sherwood and Karen Sherwood, and many nieces and nephews.

I, Jimmy Scamorza, will miss my beloved wife dearly.

Visitation will begin at 11am and Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Thursday, June 3rd at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd. Ocala, FL 34470 (352)-629-7171. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Ocala.
