Obituary of Kelly Jean Hicks
Kelly Jean Hicks, Belleview Florida.
Kelly Hicks, 50, passed peacefully from this life on May 17, 2021, at the Ted and Diane Brandley Hospice House, Summerfield, Florida. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Hicks and both parents, Albin P. Kisarewich and Geraldine Gagnon Kisarewich. She is survived by two sisters and two brothers, and her partner, Bradley Holmes.
Kelly lived her dream life working on her home property in Belleview, Florida. She was active in local school events alongside her husband “Coach Hicks”. Together she and Tony built a home and exercise track for their horses, maintained pastures, and welcomed in a variety of pets. After Tony’s death, Kelly devoted her energy to maintaining her grounds and animals. She was a country girl at heart with a soft spot for all in need. On her better days, Kelly’s life was brightened by discovering the creative painted stones hidden by Ocala and Belleview Rocks
Kelly persisted through her long battle with cancer with courage and gratitude for all who helped her. Her family echoes that gratitude for the fine staff at the Brandley Hospice House. They made her final days peaceful and pain free.
Private services are planned for the family. In Kelly’s memory, friends are encouraged to bring a smile to someone they love or to a perfect stranger.
