Obituary of Melody Ann Dufresne

Ms. Melody Ann Dufresne, 64, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at her home in Atlanta, GA. 

Ms. Melody was born in Massena, NY to the late Ruby Emmons and biological father Roger Dufresne. She was preceded in death by her step-father, “Big Louie” Emmons (who she loved dearly) and brothers Jimmy, Roger, and Robert Dufresne. She was a member of the Catholic Church, a volunteer and a retiree from years of work in commercial and cargo airlines, Thoroughbred horse racing, radio advertising, and sales. She will be remembered as a vibrant, loving and supportive woman who loved her family and close friends dearly. 

Living family members include her son and son-in-law, Marc von Mandel and Gregory Morrow; sister, Kim Dufresne; brother, sister-in-law, and nephew, Louie, Libby, and Luke Emmons; and aunt, Brenda Daulton. 

The funeral service to honor Ms. Melody’s life will be private to the immediate family in Ocala, Florida at Highland Memorial Park.
