Obituary of Leoncia “Penny” (Pambuena) Mraovich

Leoncia “Penny” (Pambuena) Mraovich, age 92 residing at The Villages, Florida went home to the Lord Wednesday, May 19th, 2021.

Born in Germantown, Philadelphia where she grew up with her parents, Apolonio and Josephine (Hassano) and 3 brothers who preceded her in death: Al, Kempton and John.

Penny and her husband, Robert resided in Washington DC where they owned/operated a hair salon business in 2 locations for 45 years. One location was in one of the largest convention hotels in the city. In her spare time Penny loved to sew, knit, read and spend time with family, friends and the many dogs she had during her lifetime. Penny also loved the beach and enjoyed living in the Virgin Islands for 3 years.

Besides her husband, Robert, she is survived by her son Marc Guarin and daughter in law Karen and many nieces and nephews. Services will be private.
