Obituary of Danny Cameron Rodgers
Danny Cameron Rodgers, 51, of Ocala passed away on May 15, 2021. He was born June 25, 1969 the son of Marilyn (Clayton) Starling and Walter Rodgers. Danny was born in Quantico, Virginia and because of his father's time in the Marines, he lived in many different military bases before moving to Ocala in 1985. Danny was a graduate of Van Guard High School in the year 1987. Following his high school career, Danny went on to Central Florida Community College where he studied marine biology. For 30+ years, he worked for his mother and step-father at Clayton's Small Engine Repair as a small engine technician and was OMC Certified Marine Mechanic. In Danny's free time, he loved fishing and bowling. He also loved his family dearly and he and his mother were best friends. Danny’s dog, Yeti, was his biggest protector and best friend.
Survivors include his children, Logan, Kyle and Kaylin Rodgers; loving mother and step-father, Marilyn and Clayton Starling; his father, Walter Rodgers; sister, Rebecca Rodgers; step-siblings, Shannon (Keith) Stewart, Troy (Donna) Starling, and Serena (Enoch) Irvine; grandmother, Rhoda "Dianne" Hill; and many other family members and friends.
Predeceased by his grandfather, John Woehrle.
