Obituary of Dolores Marie Bell

Dolores Marie Bell, 83, of Ocala, Florida passed away at Life Care Center of Ocala on May 16, 2021. She was born September 15, 1937, the daughter of the late Joseph and Alvira Botticello. Dolores was born in Angola, New York.  The family then relocated to Silver Creek, New York where Dolores graduated from Silver Creek Central School in the Class of 1955.  "Dee" later worked at the Record Agency and Miller & Waterhouse Insurance Agencies in Silver Creek.  Dee and Jim Jr. later relocated to Winter Haven, Florida where she was employed at Florida's Natural Orange Juice Company until she retired at age 72.   Dolores relocated to Ocala, Florida from Rochester, New York in 2016.  She always loved Florida and was so happy to return.  Her love for family and friends, music and dancing and bingo never waivered.  She was the life of every party and her laughter was infectious.

Dolores is survived by her children, Mary Beth Bell, James F. Bell, Jr. and his wife, Mary Jane.  Dee is also survived by her sister, Nancy Greco; her brother, Vito Botticello (Karen); Sister-in-law Gail Botticello and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; the father of her children, James F. Bell, Sr.; her Sister, Carmela Morabito and nephews James Greco and Scott Botticello.

The family wishes to thank the Staff of the 100 Hall at Life Care Center of Ocala, especially Jennifer, Nancy and Maureen for the wonderful care given to their Mom.  Many thanks, also to Hospice Nurse, Janelle and the entire Hospice Team for their expertise and compassion when their Mom needed it most.

A memorial service will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services on Saturday, June 5 at 11:00am. A reception will follow the service for family members and friends.
