Obituary of Olli Armas Ahrenberg

Olli Armas Ahrenberg, 85, passed into heaven on April 29, 2021.  He was born on December 3, 1935 in Helsinki, Finland, the son of Armas and Anna Ahrenberg.  Olli came to America in 1968 and spent his career at Tech Systems in Thomaston, CT as an electrical engineer.  He and his wife, Sara retired to Ocala, FL in 1997 where he enjoyed gardening.  He was a member of Ocala West United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sara, his sister, Marjatta Sjogren of Finland and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents, and his sister, Inkri.

The family will hold a private ceremony in Terryville, CT at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be sent to a charity of the giver’s choice.
