Dear Bette and Family,
So sorry to learn about Jack. It’s been a long, long time since he was a “Harrisonian ” as we were… but there are still many memories of those times with Nanny Mc Guire at “230 John Street.” In particular, I remember once when you and he brought Timmy down to see Nanny on Halloween…. In THE most adorable Dalmation Halloween costume – tail and all. I would say Timmy was 2 or 3 years old. You and he and Timmy were all so happy and Nanny was delighted to see you.
I also remember hearing the story that Jack once walked from Harrison to your house (in Bloomfield, or Glen Ridge)- which is several miles - so that he could see you. I guess that was about the best predictor of 66 happy years to follow. May God Bless him. So very sorry, Bette, Tim, Teri and Teddy and Jean.
