Obituary of Ellen St. Clair Akers

Ellen St. C. Akers (nee St. Clair), Age 77, born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania passed away April 15, 2021.

Beloved wife of Donald Richard "Dick"; loving mother of Brian (Susie) and Amy Teets (Robin); dear grandmother of Alex, Jonathan, Matthew, Lauren, Isabella; sister of Bess Cochran and Cynthia St. Clair; preceded in death by her parents Walter and Sally (nee St. Clair). 

Ellen was a proud graduate of Western Reserve University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and worked as both a Social Worker and Teacher’s Assistant for those that needed special care and support.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org would be appreciated.
