Dottie Louise Brunswick Goddard, 65, passed away in her home in Ocala, FL on March 10, 2021. She was born in Hollywood, California on May 17, 1955. She was the youngest of 6 children born to William Harold Brunswick and Dorothy Mae Barr.
Dottie lived most of her life in Florida, with short stints in California and Tennessee. She lived in Ocala, FL from her teen years until 1993, when she moved to and worked in Jacksonville, FL before moving to Crystal River, FL to live with her mother after her father passed. After her mother passed away, she moved back to Ocala, FL.
Dottie worked in various occupations. She worked with her mother in Better Business Federation in Crystal River, FL. She also worked in sales for a radio station. For the last 16 years or so, she has worked for Infinite Energy (now Gas South) in Gainesville, FL.
Dottie was predeceased by her parents, William (1997) and Dorothy (2000); two brothers, Jimmie Harold Brunswick (2001) and Danny Ray Brunswick (1997), and a sister, Brenda Kay Brunswick (1971). She is survived by her loving husband, Roger Goddard (17 years), Ocala, FL; son, Phillip Teuton, II (Erin), Lexington, SC; 2 sisters, Linda Mae Denney, Ponte Vedra, FL and Betty Jane Hickman (George), Crystal River, FL; step-son, Alex Goddard, Jacksonville, FL; ex-husband, Phil Teuton (Kathy), Ocala, FL; 3 grandsons, Michael, Logan, and Conner, all of Lexington, SC; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, friends; and her dogs, Bailey and Maya.
A celebration of Dottie’s life will be held in St John’s, Florida on March 20, 2021.
