Obituary of Albert L. Hudson

Albert L.Hudson, 85 of Morriston Florida was surrounded by family as he went peacefully to be with our lord and savior on Sunday March 28th 2021. Al was born on January 4th 1936 in Patterson NJ to Leslie and Theodora Hudson and had an older sister, Evelyn. He attended school and grew up in New Jersey, later moved to New York and retired in Florida. Al was a very talented artist and could draw anything! He went to school to be a cartoonist, worked as a mechanic, owned a gas station and finally retired after many years as a truck driver. Al met the love of his life, Carol and they were married on March 13th 1957. Al and Carol had 6 children and went on to build a life together that they truly loved. Al enjoyed stock car racing, rebuilding cars, hunting, and playing pool. Al was always the life of the party. Al was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Theodora Hudson and his sister Evelyn Roswell. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 64 years, Carol Hudson. His children, Albert Hudson (Laura), Kevin Hudson, Cathy Hudson, Robin Gumaer (Mike), Kim Rodriguez (Rey) and Lisa Hudson (Levi). His Grandchildren, Nichole, Janine, Eddie, Catherine, Ashley, Russell, Tony, Kevin Jr, Shane, Derek, Keith, Scotty, Hannah, Alexis, Mercedes and Maddy as well many great grandchildren. Services for Al will be held at Hiers-Baxley funeral homes on Silver Springs Blvd. in Ocala Fl on Saturday April 17th 10:30am with viewing beginning at 9:30a.
