Obituary of Margaret Sue Murray

Margaret Sue Murray, 88, of Ocala, Florida passed away at Cate’s House on March 10, 2021. She was born June 11, 1932 the daughter of Sam and Frances Dalton. Margaret was a native of Rutledge, Tennessee before moving to Florida in 1953. In 1948, she married the love of her life, Cleitus, and together the two shared 68 years of love and happiness before his passing in 2016. While working, Margaret was a baker at High Point Elementary School in Clearwater, Florida until retirement. She was a long time member of College Road Baptist Church in Ocala. In her free time, Margaret loved to bake and fish. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

Margaret is survived by her loving daughters, Dinah Casaletto of Ocala and Rebecca (Jerry) Wamack of Green Cove Springs; siblings, Henry Dalton and Jibby Byrd; eighteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.  

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Cleitus; her parents; and her son-in-law, Bill Casaletto.

A funeral service for Margaret will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, March 16 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services - TimberRidge (9695 SW 110th Street, Ocala, FL 34481). Visitation will be held from 12:00pm until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Ocala.
