We were very sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad and our cousin, Dick. Maureen and I saw him last when we visited him and your Mother in April of 2012 and had talked to him regularly since then. Sadly we didn’t know he was having trouble of this nature. We had a good time with him and Colleen seeing the sights around Ocala and the Gulf.
The three of us grew up with your Dad and your Uncle Bill, in Washington, PA. We had many good times as kids and spent most Christmas Eve’s with all the relatives.
Your dad always kept in touch with our parents, Dick & Arlene. They thought a lot of him. When Debbie’s husband, Frank had his heart transplant, he called every week for an update. You could tell how much family meant to him.
Although we didn’t get together often as adults we kept in contact with him and had a very good relationship. We all looked forward to the occasional family reunion. He often spoke fondly of his kids and we know you feel the loss of a loving Dad. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, we have made a donation to the American Heart Association in Dick’s name.
