Obituary of Victoria Jean Sheehy-Spitzer

Victoria "Vickie" Jean Sheehy-Spitzer, age 55 of Ocala, FL passed away at home on February 25, 2021.  Vickie was born on Father's Day, June 20, 1965 in Alexandria, VA to William and Lois Sheehy.  She was a state champion twirler as a young child, teenager and continued twirling at Chantilly High School as a spitfire Charger!  She attended Kelley Business School in Virginia.

She was a loving and loyal mother, daughter, sister and friend.  She was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan who loved to bicker with any Redskin fan.  She loved to and could shuffle skate with the best of them.  Her happy place was Myrtle Beach going to the water parks, amusement parks, retail therapy and spending time with loyal friends who loved her as deeply as she loved them.  She adored spoiling, dressing and being with her fur babies!  She had an amazing heart and devotion for her animals that she loved unconditionally.  

She truly loved her job at the Florida Department of Corrections.  She was blessed with the best boss she ever had, Carrie Daffron (Derek) whom she shared a treasured friendship and sisterhood that brought so much light and joy to her world.  She also had her loyal, gallivanting friend Kelly Sites who shared a kindred spirit for running away to the beach, shopping, dinner and love of animals.

She had amazing friends that spanned over decades. Special appreciation and gratitude to Nicole O'Toole Novakoski, Donna Miller Coleman and John Dingus who were always there for her and never failed her.  

She was preceded in death by her beloved Momma.  She is survived by the most important man in her world, her beloved Poppy, sons Stephen and Zackery, sister Krisie (Mark), nephew Bobby, niece Gracie girl and best friend Sarah Almadani (Amer).
