Obituary of Sharon Darlene Thompson

Sharon Darlene Thompson, 62 of Ocala, FL, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021. She was born in Fayetteville North Carolina and has lived in Ocala since she was a young child. As she grew up, activities such as bowling and gymnastics were just a few of her achievements she received awards for. She loved being around her friends and family. Always had a smile on her face. She loved riding Harleys with her friends and camping in her down time. Sharon had a green thumb better than anyone I know, her flowers were her escape from the world.

Sharon is survived by her daughter Amanda Thompson and son William Shively as well as grandchildren, Serenity Rain, Lestat, Lily Rain, Kelvon, Kelveon, Chakira Darlene, Karjuan & Kareem.

You were an amazing woman, mother, and grandmother. You will truly be missed by many. Watch over us as our guardian angel, be our sunshine on cloudy days, and wait on us at the gates of heaven. We love you mom!

Visitation will be from 1-3pm on Saturday, February 27th at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services Ocala Chapel.
