Daniel. My beautiful son. There are so many things I wish I could say to you but words are so hard to come by. I’m forever blessed by the memories you leave me with. Our two-hour phone chats. You, me, and your brother Kevin being banished to the garage for being too noisy. I could easily continue. Every single memory is treasured. My heart is heavy beyond belief but I can rest in the assurance that you knew the deepness of my love for you, and that love never once wavered. I loved hearing the words, “I love you, dad” roll off of your tongue and I’ll forever hear your voice saying them. Rest well, my son. Until I can one day hold you again, the hole left in my heart will remain empty. All of my love…dad.
