Obituary of Lucius James Williams Jr.

Lucius James Williams Jr, born on December 20, 1937 in Jacksonville, Fl. to Esther  and Lucius Williams Sr,  died on February 16, 2021 in Ocala, Florida.

After graduating from DuPont High School in Jacksonille, he moved to Ocala where he met his wife Sheri Penuel Williams.  They were married on February 16, 1958. Together they worked, fished, traveled, and raised a family.

Lou, along with his wife, managed the Ocala Drive In Theatre, Flea Market,  and Pawn Shop for 42 years. Lou was a member of the Ocala Elks Club as well as the Ocala Ft King Breakfast Lions Club for over 45 years.  He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and was an accomplished pliot since the age of 16.

He was proceeded in death by his mother and father.  He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sheri Penuel Williams, daughters Kandi Ellzey (Michael), Rhonda Kirk (John ) and Tammy Fiellin (Kurt).  He was grandfather to nine grandchildern and three great grandchildren.  He is also survived by sister Betty Tobiassen of Silver Springs Maryland.

There will be no services at this time.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
