Obituary of Michael Anthony Spano

Michael Anthony “Mike” Spano, 33, of Dunnellon, FL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 31, 2021. Mike was born in Mt. Kisco, NY to Kenneth and Nancy Spano. He moved to Dunnellon in 1997 from Mohegan Lake, NY, and graduated Dunnellon High School. Mike also attended Daytona Community College for Culinary Arts. He enjoyed fishing and football, being a Dallas Cowboy fan since childhood, and eventually became owner of Spano Golf Carts and Repairs in Ocala.

Mike was predeceased by his father Kenneth Spano in 2018. He is survived by his mother Nancy Spano of Ocala, sister Erin Drakontaidis of Kingston, NY, brothers Joseph Spano of Dunnellon, FL, and Adam Spano of Carmel, NY, 3 nephews; Christian and Ari Drakontaidis, and Anthony Spano, and 2 nieces; Leila Spano and Mia Drakontaidis. He always appreciated and enjoyed his many friends and extended “family”.
