Dear Annette and family
We have so many fun memories of Bill. We thought we would like to share just one that we think you all could relate to.
We went on an Alaskan Cruise with some friends and realized the sound we've been hearing over and over again, was Bill opening and closing the itinerary held in place with velcro. He was so excited about the trip, it seemed he wanted to ensure we were on schedule and/or if we questioned him, we would know he was on top of things. I understand he kept a journal perhaps with these very same things in mind. What fun...we will miss him.
Henry Nowen wrote a book, Living as the Beloved......"I listen to that small soft voice calling me Beloved. I know that there is nothing to fear and that dying is the greatest act of love, the act that leads me into the eternal embrace of my God whose love is everlasting."

Dad, so many fabulous memories. So many great talks. One memory that really sticks out is when you and Mom visited when we brought Amanda home. You hugged me tighter than you ever had before and told me how happy you were for me/us.

Whatever the occasion, holiday celebrations, dinners out, or club meetings Ted and I will always remember all the fun and laughter Bill brought to every one. One of my fondest and unforgettable memories I had with my Dad was during a party thrown in my honor, sending me off to the United States Air Force back in 1977. He took me aside during this party and told me that he has never been prouder of me. My Dad was not one to wear his emotions on his sleeve so this comment caught me off guard yet stayed with me forever. Thank you and I love you Dad.
