Obituary of Ruth Marie Shrauger

Ruth Marie Shrauger, 81, of Dunnellon passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at E. W. & Lucille Cates Hospice House in Ocala. Ruth was a native of Binghamton, New York and moved to this area from Johnson City, NY in 1982. She was a member of the Ocala West United Methodist Church (Stitch Sisters), DAR, and the Mayflower Society. Survivors include her daughters Diane (Scott) Reiman, Pamela (Benjamin) Boyst; sister Sherry (David) Laskowski; brother Gary Ayres; grandchildren, Alyssa (Ali) Fusisi, Sandra Maples, Kaitlin (CJ) Gottuso, Martin Maples II, Steven (Ellen) Reiman, Christopher (Adela) Boyst, Cody (Amber) Boyst; and 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Shrauger, her parents Jack and Mary Ayres and her daughter Penny Marie Wiser. A visitation will be held from 1-4 PM on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, TimberRidge. Graveside services will be private.
