Obituary of Brian Keith Stump

Brian Keith Stump, 59, of Ocala, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020.  Brian was born in Harrisburg, PA to David Stump and Julia Greenly. He was a resident of Florida since the age of 5.

Brian LOVED his family. There was never a question of how deep. He was SO proud of all of his children and their accomplishments. He loved his job and his lawn service – “Florida Green Lawn Care”. Anyone that knew him can still hear him saying “Florida Green-You Copy?”. He loved the people he worked with – he didn’t call them fellow employees – he called them friends.

Brian loved being involved helping people in need. He was in charge of the Annual Saltwater Fishing Tournament while employed at E-One and while employed with Class 1 became involved with Habitat for Humanity.

Brian loved being outdoors. Prior to his back injury if he wasn’t working you could find him at Camp Stumpie or in Crystal River on the water.

He is survived by his wife Teresa and children Brett (Mandy), Jessica & Tyler Stump; granddaughters Breann Lee Bowen & Isabella Marie Stump. Siblings Allan (Sharon) Stump, Carl (Susan) Stump, Dean (Freida) Stump, Kevin Stump, Tammy (Kyle) Johnson.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Church @ the Springs Ocala Campus 5424 SE 58^th Ave. (Baseline).  Visitation from 2-3pm with service being held at 3pm.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Marion County Fire Rescue Benevolence Fund in his name.
