Obituary of Roger H. Agamaite

Ocala, Roger H. Agamaite, 91, of Ocala passed away December 18, 2020. He was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin to Agnes and Walter Agamaite.

He was proceeded in death by his son Bradley and his first wife Joyce. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Shelby Jean, his sister Jean, sons Paul, Jeffrey, John and daughters Karen, Vicki and Sara. There are 18 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

He served a total of five years in the U.S. Army including active duty and reserves.

He received a degree in Civil Engineering and later obtained an Electrical Engineering license which assisted him in his 32 years at Florida Power. Upon retiring he was a Division Manager of Engineering and Operations.

He volunteered seven years in the University of Florida Master Gardner Program. He was a member of three Lion’s Clubs where he served in many leadership roles for over twenty years.

Arrangements by Hiers Baxley of Ocala. Memorial Service Celebrating Roger’s life at the Central Baptist Church will be held December 28th at 11:00am The family will ba having a gathering from 10:00am-11:00am.at the church. The family will be observing social distancing and wearing masks, please be kind.
