Obituary of Joseph William Raspante

Joseph William Raspante, 92, of Silver Springs, Florida passed away at his home on December 20, 2020. He was born October 4, 1928, the son of the late Julius and Victoria Raspante. Joseph was a native of Pompton Lakes, NJ, and a longtime resident of Niskayuna, NY. He moved to this area in 2013. Joe served in the Army in Ordinance as a computer repairman. Most of Joe’s career was in electronics at the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory in Niskayuna. Joe was a devoted husband of 57 years, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved animals, in particular, Basset Hounds and he was an avid birdwatcher.

Joseph is preceded in death by his parents; his spouse, Marylee Raspante, and his brother, Patrick Raspante.

He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Phillips; son-in-law, Gregory Phillips; grandson, Justin Phillips; granddaughter, Deanna Cauley; great-granddaughter, Tanya Cauley, and great-grandson, Rain Phillips.
