I got to know Mr. Dimicco when he came to my job-site back in the early 90's. He was looking for a finish carpenter to complete some work on their cottage in Mayville. He became a good friend and employer. He came around at a good time in my life. He kept me busy between his cottage and the hotel in Chautauqua. I also became friends with their son Dan, fresh out of college at that time. We were honored to have him and Nancy, great lady, share our wedding day with us in 1995 at which time he met my Dad and swapped old navy stories after learning that they both served at the same time. When I was going through a tough time with my past employer, he went out of his way to write a 2-page reference letter to the Labor Dept. vouching for my integrity. He was a great guy, good friend. Very sorry to hear of his passing. Sincere condolences to Nancy, Dan, and the rest of the family.
