Obituary of Nathan Gauge Christensen

Nathan Gauge Christensen, age 7, became an angel and passed from this life on Saturday, November 28, 2020. He was born in Gainesville, Florida on February 14, 2013 the son of Lawrence and Brandie Christensen and spent the remainder of his life in the Ocala area. In Nate’s short time on this Earth he enjoyed Nerf wars, water gun fights, TikTok, and spending time with his family among many other things. Nathan attended Anthony Elementary. He was loved and cherished by everyone he knew because of his kind heart and smile. His wings were ready, but our hearts were not.

Nathan will be deeply missed by his parents, Lawrence Christensen, IV and Brandie Christensen; his maternal grandparents, Roxanne (Eric) Garcia and paternal grandparents, Tracy Domas and Lawrence Christensen III; his sisters, Bryauna and Alauna Barwick and Juliauna Christensen; his aunts and uncles, Stormie (Alex) Daugherty, Troy (Heather) Christensen, and Scott Barwick; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his cousin, Tiffany Barwick.

A visitation for Nathan will be held from 10:00am until 1:00pm on Saturday, December 5 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services (910 E Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, FL 34470). Social distancing will be practiced during visitation hours. A funeral service will be held following visitation at 2:00pm at Good Shephard Memorial Gardens where burial will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shephard Memorial Gardens or Brother’s Keeper (320 NW 10th St, Ocala, FL 34470). Online condolences may be left at hiers-baxley.com.
