Obituary of Rose Hildegarde Smith

Rose Hildegarde Smith, 94, of Belleview, Florida passed away November 19, 2020 at Harbor House at Ocala, Dunnellon, Florida. She was the wife of the late Eugene J. Smith who passed away in 2000.

Rose was born in Dubuque, Iowa a daughter of the late Henry and Margaret Schlung. Prior to her retirement she worked as a Telephone Operator.

Rose is survived by daughters, Paula Nelson of Belleview, FL and Sandra Nelson and her husband Mark of Belleview, FL and son, David Smith and his wife Beth of Ocala, FL. She was the grandmother of, Luke Nelson, Sarah Perez, Kyle Nelson and David Smith. She is also survived by her sister Ramona Huftill of CA.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Lily  Metcalf  ,  Victor  Schlung  ,  Myrtle  Scanlon,  Opal  Ahler ,  Allen  Schlung ,  Henry  Schlung and  Margaret  Schlung.
