Obituary of Elizabeth “Bette” Tipton

Elizabeth “Bette” Tipton, 90, of Ocala, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2020.  Bette was born in Waukegan, IL to Charles and Gertrude Wolbing.  She moved to Ocala in 1987 from Fox Lake, IL.  She worked at Baxter Laboratories as an engineer, and invented a one way valve for healthcare purposes.  

Bette was predeceased by her son Greg Schwades (1980).

Bette is survived by her son Chuck Schwades and wife Cathy of Ocala, step children; Debbie (Lowell) Vahl and Lynn (Bill) Walsh, 2 grandchildren; Michael and Jennifer Schwades, a grandson Mason Schwades, and step grandchildren; Haley and Madison Duncan.

No local services are planned.  Mrs Tipton’s final resting place will be in Round Lake, Illinois.
