How I would have loved to spend more time with Vinni ... I only met him 4 years ago. I was sitting in his living room at home and he came in. I saw his smiling face and knew immediately who he was - we really look alike! He should have been a stranger to me, but it felt so familiar. We didn't have to talk much, we just enjoyed the moment. I met his wife Donna and later Chris and Heather - a wonderful, loving family that welcomed me and my husband Ralph with open arms. In that short time we celebrated Thanksgiving, Christmas, our birthdays, went on cruises and played board games. I will never forget his laughter, nor his joy when he could eat ice cream or chocolate filled with alcohol, or when he was winning at the casino. Yes, I would have liked to have met him earlier, but we met and that's all that matters. (Thank you, Jenny) I will miss Vinni ...

Our family is getting smaller and smaller ... I cannot describe in words how difficult it is to say goodbye. You are now in a better place without suffering. You will get to see all your beloved ones who left before. I will always remember your smile and with every Curry Wurst from Krasselt I will have another one in honor of you. So very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We have been friends of Donna & Jim since 2010 when we all met on a cruise ship, and we enjoyed a number of cruises together. We also have spent some wonderful times together in the Villages visiting with the Hills. There are many, many good memories of good times with these delightful people, and especially enjoying Jim and his terrific sense of humor. Our condolences go out to Donna, Chris & Heather. May the memory of this wonderful man be a blessing to you all, and may Jim rest in peace, in the presence of God. Henry & Sheila Weiss
