Obituary of Alex Baron

Alex Baron was born July 4, 1961 to his mother Teressa Delva, and by his father Jacques Jean-Pierre in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He is the oldest of twins. He attended schooling and enjoyed playing soccer and many other games. While in Haiti Alex met his former wife Magalie Telfort. He emigrated to United States from Port-au-Prince, Haiti at age 14. He attended Newtown High School in Queens, New York and was reconnect with Magalie and her family which became Alex’s extended family.

Alex and Magalie were married and had two children Alex Jr. and Megan. Following the marriage to Magalie, Alex met and began a relationship with Sardaigne Armand where their daughter Alexia was born. 

Alex spent his life working as a mechanic, a construction worker, truck driver and bus driver. He enjoyed entertaining, laughing, making jokes, watching sports and spending time with all his children.

Alex will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving father, distinguished mechanic and driver, humorist, sweet, kind soul, and follower of Christ. He was always known as the “life of the party.” He will be remembered as a helpful friend whom would go above and beyond to help anyone he could

Alex passed in peace at the age of 59 in Livingston, New Jersey surrounded by his children, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Teressa Delva, and by his father Jacques Jean-Pierre. He is survived by son, Alex Jr., and daughters, Megan and Alexia. He is survived by his adoptive son Claudy Leon, his twin brother Alain Jean-Pierre and former wife and cherished friend Magalie Telfort.

Dad you will be truly missed.

The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, November 7^th from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm with the celebration of life service starting at 4:00 pm at the Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispana de Marion Oaks, 558 Marion Oaks Lane, Ocala Florida.
