Obituary of Caridad Cruz

 

Caridad Cruz, born in Camaguey, Cuba on May 14, 1936 passed away on October 21, 2020.

 

She came to the USA in the last of the freedom flights on February 29, 1962 and lived in Miami, Florida before moving to Ocala in 2000.

 

In 1996, Caridad became a United States citizen, something she was very proud of.

 

Survived by Flory Taylor, Alex D., Aldo F., Kara, and Elizabeth Alleguez. Great-grandchildren, Leana, Aldo, Alyssa, Alex, Elliot, London, and Havana.

 

Caridad was the best nanny ever! She loved cooking, gardening, and being a homemaker.

 

We will remember her always. Until we meet again.
