Obituary of Barbara Jean “BJ” MacDonald

Barbara Jean “BJ” MacDonald, 61 of North Port, Florida passed away on Sunday September 27, 2020 at her daughters’ home with her family by her side. BJ was born in Bay City, Michigan and moved to Florida in 2010 prior to living in upstate New York. She was a retired hair stylist and loved being with her family. BJ loved riding her Harley and crafting homemade gifts for her friends and family. But most of all, she loved spending time with her grandbabies.

BJ is survived by her mother Patricia Weigle of Port Charlotte, Florida, daughter Lisa Marie Smith and her husband Gregory of Ocala, Florida, son Steven Michael Havens and his wife Rachel of San Diego, California, her sister Paula Frugia of Texas, 3 brothers Bill Weigle of Texas, Jeff Weigle of Texas, Craig Weigle of Ohio, grandchildren Halle, Caleb, Lathen, Austin and McKinley, and a host of friends.

Per BJ’s wishes, no services will be scheduled.
