Obituary of Dorothy Nell Shively

Dorothy Nell Shively, 90, of Ocala, FL, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020.  Dorothy was born in Dothan, AL to John and Lilly Windsor.  She was a retired school bus driver of 25 years for the Marion County School District.  She was a member of St. John’s Methodist church in Cotton Plant, and also two dance clubs; the German Club and the Polish Club.  Dorothy and her husband were pattern dance partners often featured in The Villages on the Square.  She will be remembered fondly for her pork chop dressing and her snowball cookies at Christmas.

She is survived by her sons Jimmy Shively and Tommy Shively and their spouses, and her brother Bob Windsor and his wife Shirley.

Dorothy will be laid to rest with her husband Wilbur Keith Shively (2017) in Cotton Plant Cemetery in Ocala, (Cotton Plant), FL.
