Obituary of WIlliam Paul Wilson

William Paul Wilson, 92, of Dunnellon, FL, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020.

William was born in Miami, FL to Lonnie and Bessie Wilson and worked as an

electrician. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving on the USS Severn during his enlistment.

He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather.

When he moved to Ocala from Miami he became a hog farmer and provided many hogs for the children in the 4H and FFA programs in the area. He loved working with his hands creating things for others as well as growing his vegetable garden.

He was a Member of IBEW Local 349 for 60 years, and the USS Severn Reunion AO61 Group.

William will be remembered for: Barbecues, Woodworking, Welding and Metal Fabrication, Commercial Fishing, and Boat Building.

William was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Peggy in 2012 and Granddaughter Karen Gindy in 2019. He is survived by daughter Gloria and Mark Gindy of Ocala, son Larry and Amy Wilson of Miami, and his son Garry Wilson of Dunnellon . Grandchildren: Paul M. Wilson,Jennifer Delacruz, Charles Gindy, Lauren Perez-Guzman, David Wilson, Daniel Wilson, Nichols Eaves . Great Grandchildren: Halie DelaCruz, Nathan Wilson, Elissa Wilson, Ayden Gilbert, Giordano Perez-Guzman IV.

Visitation will be at 11:00 AM followed by Services at 12:00PM at College Road Baptist Church in Ocala,FL on Friday, August 14th, 2020.

Burial will be at 2:00 PM at Good Shepherd Memory Gardens in Ocala, FL.
