Obituary of Mildred L. Coker

Mildred L. Coker, 89, a long-time resident of Belleview, Florida passed away July 21, 2020 at Advent Health of Ocala, Ocala, Florida. She was the wife of the late F. Leon Coker.

Mildred was born in Sparks, GA a daughter of the late William H. and Earnie Rutherford.  Prior to her retirement she worked for many years in the Cafeteria at Belleview Elementary School.

Left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Joyce Gallagher (Kevin) of San Mateo, FL, Janice Coker of, Mt. Dora, FL and Sandra Wagner (Ken) of Leesburg, FL. She is survived by four sisters, two brothers, eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, three great- great grandchildren as well as numerous friends, cousins, nieces, and nephews who will miss her dearly.  She was preceded in death by her parents, W.H. Rutherford and Earnie Rutherford-Dees; a son, Dennis Leon; daughters, Ann Clark, MS and Lori M. Yates, of Belleview. 

The family will receive friends at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, FL 34420 on Monday, July 27, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Masks and social distancing are required.  Due to current restrictions, funeral services, officiated by Pastor Danny McCullough, will be attended by immediate family only. Interment will be at Good Shepherd Memorial Garden, Ocala, FL. Condolences may be left at Hiers-Baxley.com.
