Obituary of Pauline C. Takeshita

Pauline C. Takeshita, went to Heaven to join her immediate family on June 7, 2020. She was the last of her siblings. Polly was born October 21, 1926, in Slocomb, Alabama to father Lonzo Creel and mother Corinna Tew Creel.

Polly loved playing golf, tennis (she took great joy in beating younger ladies), poker, and exercising at the gym.  She was a gourmet cook, which attracted her husband.  Polly loved working in her yard and garden taking care of her flowers and vegetables.  She also enjoyed traveling and the many places IBM moved her and her husband.  Most of all she was such a kind giving person and loved all her relatives and friends.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years Stanford Takeshita; son Wayne Stanila.  Preceded in death by previous husband O. W. Stanila; brothers Otis, Vivian, Huey, Clyde, and Rames; sister Irene; many nieces and nephews too many to name.

Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, July 1^st at 11 AM at Grace Community Church, 14244 Johns Lake Road, Clermont, FL 34711, (352) 877-4048.  After the service, please stay for snacks.
