My mother loved the water. She loved to be outdoors, in the sunshine and fresh air. I can't undo the past and it pains me that I squandered the chance to reconcile. It never occurred to me that she would pass so young. My husband and I would joke that she was going to outlive us all. And we were so wrong. I will remember the good days, of which there were many. This photo was from Herb & Carline's 25th Anniversary party. It was the last time I saw my Dad, Herb and Aunt Ann. I'll see you in Portland, Mom.
