Obituary of Robert E. ”Bob” Taylor
Robert E. ”Bob” Taylor, 69 0f Ocala, FL passed away on May 17, 2020 at the Ocala Regional Medical Center. Robert was a live long resident of Florida, being born in Winter Haven, FL.
Bob was a Marion County Sheriff Deputy from 1975 – 1997. He was a Sales Representative and Sales Manager for FL Blue for approximately three years. He was the President of Combined Insurance Services, Inc. for 40 years. He was a member and President Ocala/Marion County Chamber of Commerce in 1997, School Board Candidate 2000, member of the Rotary Club, Marion-Dunn Masonic Lodge, Past board member: Marion Citrus Mental Health, Marion Citrus Mental Health foundation, Mad Dads of Ocala, Leadership of Ocala Marion, Leadership Ocala Youth, Marion Senior Services, Business/Professional Education Alliance, Creative Services, Inc., Economic Development Council, Friends of the Christmas Parade, Insomniac Theater, President of the Avondale Home owners Association.
Bob is survived by his devoted wife Florinda Taylor of Ocala, FL, sons William Taylor and Chad Taylor both of Ocala, FL, stepsons Aldo and wife Elizabeth Alleguez and Alex and wife Kara Alleguez both of Ocala, FL, Grandchildren Leana, Aidan, Alex, Aldo, Gracyn, Alyssa, Elliot, London, and Havana, and a host of friends.
