We met Randy almost ‘7’ years ago when we moved into the house across the street. He & Sharon were so welcoming then & became our best friends in Pt Charlotte. It was obvious from the beginning how much he was in love with Sharon. He was always doing little things to make her happy & would have flown to the moon for her if that was what she wanted. It was touching to see such true love in a couple. Randy was always there for us too. If we needed help with anything, or had questions about the house, he was right there. When we arrived back down in Florida in November, he always had the pool cage & deck pressure washed & everything else ready for our return. I often said that Randy would give the shirt off of his back if someone needed it. Especially friends & family- they were the most important things to him in the world.
I’m going to miss going across the street & saying ‘I’m on the bum Randy’ (which meant that I wanted to borrow something)- be it a tool or advice on how to do something. Randy did know how to do just about anything! And he was always so willing to interrupt what he was doing to help out.I’m going to miss making him pineapple upside down cake (which he said was just like his Mother’s) because he seemed to so enjoy it. We’re going to miss him in so many ways...
Sharon, I wish I had the words that will ease the pain in your heart and reassure you that everything will be okay. Even if you don’t believe it right now, please know that you are strong and brave. You will get through this somehow. We can’t be with you right now at this terrible time, but if you ever want to just talk, we’re always here for you.

It is hard to believe I won't ever hear you say "Hey Mikey" anymore. You were truly an amazing person and probably one of the most knowledgeable men I've known. More importantly you knew how to communicate and Love. Your Love for Sharon was so admirable! I truly believe in my heart and soul that you woke up every day with the same burning desire to show her how much you Love her and to make her happy. She is your Queen and you showed it very well!
