I’ve lost a wonderful friend, mentor and role model. From the first time I met Bruce, he impressed me with his kind heart, his conviction to The Lord and his integrity. I try to be like Bruce Haupt in every way, every day. Now, he was also a prefect straight man for my jokes. He never let me down as fodder for a great story because he was always getting into something. The “Mirror in the restaurant” and the “too many sausages” stories are classics I retell all the time. Great guy. Great family. Well lived life. NO doubt we’ll see each other again. You ran a good race Brother Bruce and have earned your rest. Thank you and Kathy for bringing such joy and friendship to Patsy & me. Johnny B.

Uncle bruce was a fantastic human being. He was a much cooler, laid-back, and a more easy-going version of my Dad- Moe Haupt (bruce’s brother). Uncle bruce will always live in our hearts and minds when it comes to family, fun and dancing (Greek style) in their basement. Uncle bruce, we love you and we’re going to miss you! I know if you had a cell phone in heaven, and had the opportunity to come back here and be with us, I know that you would say something to the effect of “ I love you all tremendously but there ain’t no way I’m leaving this place! In fact, this place is better than I could have ever imagined!!!! And Jesus is AWESOME! You will never be forgotten Uncle bruce! We LOVE you!
