Dear Grandma, I have been blessed to have such a beautiful and strong grandmother. The memories of you will be cherished always. I was fortunate to live next door to you in Ledyard. Running down the path to your house to go swimming on a hot day was a favorite of mine. You were someone I would look up to as you had the motivation and strength to stay strong no matter what. You will always be remembered as a beautiful Italian strong woman and a great cook. I will always cherish you always. I’m going to miss you grandma but one day we will be reunited in heaven. I love you always.

I will remember Auntie Julia for her strength, sense of humor, kindness, decisiveness, and love for family. I will miss our seafood lunches, strolling in the “shop next door” and reminiscing of family events. God bless you.
