Obituary of Mary Catherine Domanski

Mary Catherine Domanski, age 85, of The Villages, FL passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020.

Mary and her late husband moved to The Villages, FL in 2004 from Long Island, NY.  They became members of St. Mark’s Roman Catholic Church.  She and her late husband Frank celebrated their 50^th wedding anniversary mass in 2006.  Mary became a Eucharistic Minister in 1984 at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Patchogue, NY, and has served at St. Mark’s since 2006.  Mary belonged to a small Christian community group since 2016 and joyfully made her Emmaus journey in 2013.  Mary was also a member of the women’s guild for many years.  She felt very blessed and thanked God for her life at St. Mark’s.  Family was everything to Mary and she was everything to her family. 

She is survived by her daughter Mary E. Domanski of The Villages, FL; her grandson Richard Malone of Summerfield, FL; and her granddaughter Amanda Hutchings of Tampa, FL; her eldest sister Madeline Lineman and younger sister Loretta Brianka.

A Memorial mass will be held at St. Mark Th Evangelist Catholic Church, Monday June 15, 2020 at 10:00 AM.  Inurnment will be Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.  Arrangements entrusted with HIERS-BAXLEY Funeral & Cremation Life Event Center, 352-775-7427.  Sentiments may be left online at www.hiers-baxley.com.
